Sniplet 56. Sevvie and the Riders of the Apocalypse

Sevvie shrieked loudly as she walked towards her dad's private summoning room. It was so loud in there, she could hardly sleep. "DAD! What are you doing?!"
Illiam opened the door, smiling at his daughter. "Why, I'm certainly not summoning any evil entities from outside the universe who will herald the doom of all existance, sweetie!"
Sevvie blinked. "Then who the heck are these guys?" There were four people Sevvie had never seen before standing in the room, two male and two female.
Illiam thought quickly. "Why, these are your new babysitters. And they're here to take you off to bed. Come on!"
An enormous golden-skinned woman approached Seva, taking her hand. "Are you sleepy, princess?"
Sevvie shook her head. "Not really. I stole some of Markus's late-night coffee when he wasn't looking. Dad says it makes him antsy."
"Then why don't we do something fun." asked the other woman. "Do you like ponies?"
"I love ponies!" exclaimed Sevvie. "I have my very own."
"What color is it?" asked one of the men, a pale, gaunt fellow.
"Black." said Sevvie proudly. "And its name is Apples."
"Black is a good color for a pony." said the man, nodding appreciatively. "Now, you'll have to show us where the stables are."
Sevvie tugged on the golden woman's arm. "They're right this way."

Author's Note: I have chosen riders instead of horsemen/horsepeople for these four because they're not all men, and horsepeople sounds weird. Like they're part horse, part people.
The gold-skinned woman is Conquest, the other woman is War, and the pale man is Famine.
Death does not speak in this story.
Word Count: 220 words. Very short!
