Sniplet 17. Sebastian and His Mother [Modern!AU]

The woman stood with her little son at the airport, holding his hand as she waited for the plan to begin boarding. "Now, you will be a good boy, si, Sebastian?"
"Si, mama." said little Sebastian, looking up at his mother. "Do you think my papa will really be there, waiting for me?"
"Yes, darling, I know he will. He would not abandon his little son, as his mother must do." Sebastian's mother knelt down and gave him a piece of her hair. "When you see him, you must give him this. He always said he loved my golden locks, he must remember them. Then he will know I am your mama, and he is your papa. Alright?"
Sebastian nodded, and took the hair from his mother. The plane began boarding, and he began to cry. "I don't want to leave you, mama!"
"Don't worry, Sebastian. The place you are going to may be a hell on this earth, but it is better for you than staying here. Remember that your mama will always love you. Now go! Go my little darling!"
Sebastian cried the whole way onto the plane. "Goodbye, Mama!"

Many hours and a few transfers later, the plane landed in Las Vegas. Sebastian looked around, searching for any man who seemed like he could be his papa. "Papa! Papa!" cried out the little boy, but nobody stopped or noticed him. "Papa..... Papa?" A tall man, dressed in a uniform came up to Sebastian and asked him many questions in a language he did not know. Sebastian reached into his bag, and handed the man one of the cards his mama had made him just for this purpose. Though he was going to America, Sebastian did not know any english, save for yes and no. The only languages he knew was Spanish, and a smattering of french.
The Uniformed man spoke into his radio, and grabbed at Sebastian, and Sebastian ran, going as fast as he could outside the airport. "Papa? Papa? Papa?"
A kindly-looking woman approached the little boy, speaking words in a language he did not understand. Finally, the woman asked, "Do you speak spanish?"
"Si. I am looking for my Papa. Have you seen any man who looks like me?"
"No, little one, I do not. Was he supposed to meet you here?"
"My Mama wrote a letter to my papa, asking him to meet me here at the airport. He lives here, in Las Vegas, he owns a casino called The Devil."
"The Devil, yes! I have heard of it. My husband and friends are staying at a hotel next to there, why don't you come with us? You can meet your papa there, at his casino."
Sebastian looked to the ground. Could he really trust these people? But it seemed as if his papa was not coming, and these kind people seemed like his only hope. "Okay." Sebastian hopped into the taxi with the woman and a few others. To El Diablo, they were off.

Alexil, dressed in his "Devil" costume with horns, a fake tail, and a ridiculous red suit, stood at the front of the stage, showgirls in skimpy red leotards and headdresses that also incorporated devil horns. "Welcome, everyone, to El Diablo! We may be in Hell, but isn't it a fun place? Haven't most of the most interesting people in the world gone to hell? And isn't it a lot less stuffy than the room upstairs? So, ladies and gentlemen, enjoy your time down below. We've got a wonderful act tonight, with my wonderful wife, "The Most Beautiful Woman in the World", these gorgeous Demonesses, and later tonight, an appearance by the Fallen Angels! So stay right in your seats, you won't want to miss a moment, and enjoy every moment here, at El Diablo!"
The music began, and Alexil went backstage, where one of his security staff met him. "We saw this little brat wandering outside, trying to get in. Tried to tell him casinos are for adults only, but he doesn't speak any english, only spanish. He gave us this card about you being his father." Alexil looked down at the sad-looking child, dressed in a ripped up little shirt and dirty pants, and the child looked up at him. His dark gray eyes went wide with recognition.
"Papa, Papa!"
"Papa?" In spanish, he told the child. "I'm sorry, little one, but you must be mistaken. I have no children."
The boy shook his head. "My mama told me to meet you. She says she went you a special letter, telling you about me. She met you at this place, El Diablo, you are the owner. My mama cannot take care of me, she says you must. Look! She gave this to me so you would remember her!" The child handed Alexil a clump of hair. What the hell was he supposed to do with it?
"Look, darling, I've known many blondes in my life.... many beautiful, beautiful blondes. I'm afraid your mama isn't ringing any bells."
"She went back to Spain and she had me! She had to hide me from her family, so I lived in a closet, but it was alright, because my mama would feed me every day, often twice a day, and sometimes she would sing to me, and we would talk and talk!"
Alexil nodded. "Spain, you're what, five, it must have been..... ugh, whatserface. Kid, what's your mother's name?"
"Mama."
Alexil sighed. "That's... that's not helpful. Well, you poor thing, you might be mine, and you need a home, so you can stay here, at least until the paternity test comes in. Just kidding, even if you're not mine, you can stay here. I won't kick you out onto the streets."
The little boy ran over and hugged Alexil's leg. "Alright, alright. What's your name, anyway?"
"Sebastian." said the child.
"Sebastian? Well, Sebastian, welcome home."

Author's Notes:
How did a small child get on a plane by himself, let alone to a casino in vegas? These are all questions that are ignored by this story. They will forever be ignored. I'm sorry.
